Remote Helicopters Australia operates a fleet of turbine powered helicopters. Our helicopters are maintained to the highest level by a CASA approved maintenance facility.
With a high regard for safety and productivity, our team of pilots are trained to a very high level with internal and external checks undertaken throughout the year.
Our main base is located at 7 Mettam Rd, Wishart, Darwin NT (10km from Darwin’s CBD).
Eurocopter AS350 B2 Squirrel
Pilot + 5 Passengers.
The multi-purpose single engine AS350 B2 is a very sort after platform capable of a wide range of missions ranging from Precision Lifting, Aerial Work, Fire Fighting, Mining Support and Passenger Transport.
It’s extremely low vibration levels make the B2 a perfect platform for filming, cinema and photography work, and has Cineflex capability.

Robinson R66 Turbine
The R66’s design includes a well constructed cabin with energy absorbing seats. Its open cabin configuration comfortably seats five adults with passenger views that are not obstructed. Increased capacity, lower acquisition and operating costs, make the R66 the ideal turbine helicopter for private, business and utility applications. The R66 also makes a great platform for our precision sling lifting operations.

Bell 206L4 Longranger
Simple, two-blade rotor system for superior hover performance, speed, and a smooth, quiet ride – Ideal for light to intimidate sling work and fire abatement work.
The cabin, which is isolated from the cockpit, provides wide-open club seating for five allowing natural face-to-face conversations.
Room for one extra passenger in the cockpit plus one pilot provides a total of seven places. Air-conditioning also makes this helicopter great for charter work.
